Kensington, MD, September 20, 2019 – The Grainger Foundation, an independent, private foundation based in Lake Forest, Illinois, has donated $5,000 to the Hispanic Business Foundation (HBF) of Maryland, in support of its mission to provide educational and community outreach to and for Hispanic and other minority-owned businesses.

“This grant will be used to promote education programs among Hispanic high school students, including new summer programs in technology that we are planning for 2020, said Carmen Larsen, President of the HBF. We are grateful to The Grainger Foundation for its generosity.”

This donation was recommended by Justin Brightbill, Branch Manager of W.W. Grainger, Inc.’s, Rockville, MD location.  Grainger has been a part of Montgomery County business community for more than 25 years as the leading broad line supplier of maintenance, repair and operating products.  “We are proud to recommend the programs offered by HBF,” said Brightbill.  “We understand the need for more and better education opportunities and awareness programs in technology for High School students in Montgomery County.”
