On Thursday, April 7, HCCMC hosted a meet & greet with Tom Perez, candidate for Governor in Maryland. The event took place at La Palapa Too Mexican Grill & Cantina in Laurel, MD.
The Board of Directors, members and friends of the HCCMC came to learn about Tom’s career, his achievements, and plans for Maryland if elected Governor.
Tom began his career in 1989 as an attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division. He became the United States Secretary of Labor in 2013 under President Obama and the first Dominican-American to chair the Democratic National Committee in 2017.
