Grand Opening of Maspanads New Facilities

On Friday, September 20th, 2024, we celebrated the grand opening of the expanded facilities of Maspanadas in Rockville, MD.

This event marked a major milestone for this business, led by the inspiring Margarita Womack, a proud member of the Hispanic business community. Maspanadas continues to bring the authentic taste of empanadas to households across the U.S., and this expansion is a testament to their growth and success.

The grand opening event was truly special, drawing a large crowd of supporters from the community and local government. We were honored to have in attendance County Executive Marc Elrich, Council President Andrew Friedson, and councilmembers Natali Fani-Gonzalez, Evan Glass, and Sidney Katz, all of whom came out to show their support for this local business.

This grand opening is particularly meaningful as it took place during Hispanic Heritage Month, a time to celebrate the contributions of Hispanic-owned businesses like Maspanadas that are helping drive the local economy forward.

A huge thank you to our co-host the Greater Rockville Chamber of Commerce, our collaborators, PZ Video Productions, and Epic Events, and all partners for their support in making this event such a success. A big Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this event, and congratulations once again to Margarita and her entire team on this incredible achievement!
