8th Annual Montgomery County Business Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

HCCMC participated in the eighth annual Montgomery County Business Hall of Fame induction ceremony on October 29^th, 2019. The event honored outstanding leaders who have impacted Montgomery County’s business community in a positive way. This was also a fundraising initiative to support the Universities at Shady Grove through multiple scholarship programs.

Eun Yang, morning anchor at NBC4 News was the event emcee. The following leaders were recognized at this year’s ceremony:

Jane Fairweather, owner of The Fairweather Team
Bryant Foulger, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Foulger-Pratt
Linda R. Gooden, former Executive VP of Lockheed Martin and current chair of USM Board of Regents
Sophia Parker, CEO of DSFederal, Inc.

We all were inspired by the encouraging life story of Jeffanie Rantung-Kramar, UMD Smith School at USG alumni and current employee at Freddie-Mac.

HCCMC was happy to sponsor a table and celebrate small and big enterprises comprised of diverse cultures, ethnicities, and industries whose dedication and compassion provide students in the County with a one-of-a-kind opportunity to become educated leaders and innovators while making Montgomery County an even more desirable place to work and live.
