Business Growth Tsunami Expo

On Wednesday, July 19th, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Montgomery County (HCCMC), the Asian American Chamber of Commerce (AACC), and the Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce hosted the Business Growth Expo event at the Silver Spring Civic Building in Maryland. The event was a tremendous success, with over 80 attendees.

The event commenced with a brief welcome from County Executive Marc Elrich, who emphasized the significance of collaboration and networking in today’s business landscape. Keynote speakers Natali Fani-Gonzalez and Yolanda “Maria” Martinez provided valuable insights on recent changes in laws and highlighted opportunities for women-owned and minority-owned businesses. The program’s highlights included presentations from Roderick Johnson (SBA), Jonathan Brady (EXIM Bank), Tien Wong (ConnectPreneur), and Sandra Eberhard (WBEC).

This networking event provided a great opportunity for members of the chambers to connect and network with each other. Attendees were free to mix and mingle during the business showcase, exchanging business cards and discussing potential partnerships and collaborations.
